Tableau Desktop Version 2019.4.6 Cannot Auto Upgrade

Issue
Tableau Desktop version 2019.4 is installed. Each time opened, notified that this version has an update to be downloaded. However, after choosing ‘Install once I quit’, the new version does not install. Also, receiving occasional messages that this version is out of date and there’s a risk that we cannot work on shared files, etc.
