Issue

When running a flow connecting to a data source published to Tableau Server / Tableau Online from command line,
following error may occur.

We don't have credentials of all connections in tfl/tflx file.The following connection(s) were not found: <your Tableau Server / Online URL> (your site name)

Environment

  • Tableau Prep Builder

Resolution

Include "port" in your credentials .json file.

For Tableau Server
If http is used, "port": 80
If https is used, "port": 443
If you have changed the port number that the gateway process listens on, you should use that port here.

For Tableau Online
"port": 443

Cause

When connecting to a data source published to Tableau Server / Online, port should be included in credential .json file.
