Issue
When applying numeric data as a Postal Code, the custom format of the default number format is automatically set as five digits "00000." However, Japanese Postal Codes are seven digits "0000000" and can begin with 0.
A postal code that begins with a 0 results in NULL, and is omitted when handled as numeric.
