IssueWhen applying numeric data as a Postal Code, the custom format of the default number format is automatically set as five digits "00000." However, Japanese Postal Codes are seven digits "0000000" and can begin with 0.
A postal code that begins with a 0 results in NULL, and is omitted when handled as numeric.
By following the below steps, this will force the Postal Code to display 7 digits:
- Right Click on Postal Code in the Dimension Section of the Data Pane
- Select the Default Properties > Number Format
- Select the Custom and then insert '0000000'
- Click OK
