How to wrap headers that contain long names or prevent a header from truncating.

Tableau Desktop

To prevent a header from truncating, configure the header to increase the row height and the column width by following the steps below:
  1. Increasing the header height: hover over the first line below the corresponding header until the re-sizing symbol appears. Once the symbol appears, increase the height of the cell by clicking and dragging downwards.
  2. Increasing the header width: hover to the right of the '…' symbol to enable the ability to increase the column width.
  3. Rotate the header. For more information, see Changing Orientation of Header Label in the Tableau Knowledge Base.
