Option 1: Edit header alias
- Right-click the table calculation header on the view and select Edit Alias.
- Change the alias to the desired name and click OK.
Option 2: Edit axis label title
- Right-click on the label to be changed and select Edit Axis.
- Under Titles, change the title as desired.
- Click OK.
Option 3: Edit alias of measure name
Note: This option applies to views with published data sources.- Navigate to Data > [data source name] > Edit Aliases... > Measure Names...
- Locate the measure in the Member list.
- Change the alias to the desired name and click OK.
Option 4: Copy field with table calculation to Data pane and rename
- Drag the field with the table calculation to the Data pane. A new calculated field will be automatically created.
- Right-click the new calculated field and select Edit....
- Edit the name to reflect the desired header label and click OK.
- Drag the newly created and named calculated field back to the view and replace the original field that had the table calculation
Please note that the steps described in the above options cannot be used when working with the Edit option of Tableau Server.
