Tableau Server is Now Compatible with Amazon Linux 2023

Problemas

Amazon Linux 2023, the next generation of Amazon Linux from Amazon Web Services (AWS), was released to general availability in all AWS regions on March 15, 2023.

Previously, Amazon Linux 2023 was not officially supported as an operating system platform for Tableau Server.

    • 2023.3.1 (or newer)
  • Amazon Linux 2023

Resolução

Upgrade Tableau Server to version 2023.3.1 or newer 

  • For Tableau Server versions 2023.3.1 (or newer), Amazon Linux 2023 is a supported operating system.
  • For any Tableau Server versions released prior to 2023.3.1, it will be necessary to use an alternate supported version of Linux OS instead, such as Amazon Linux 2.

Causa

Tableau previously did not support Amazon Linux 2023 as an operating system for Tableau Server.
