Error "Incorrect data type real, getting expected integer type." Occurs Intermittently During View Rendering on Tableau Cloud and Server

The following error occurs intermittently during view rendering:

Incorrect data type integer, getting expected real type.

Resolution

Workaround for Tableau Server

From the Command line run the following commands:

tsm configuration set -k features.EnableLogicalQueryBatchProcessor -v false
tsm pending-changes apply

Please follow the Known Issue for Tableau Cloud to determine when this issue is resolved.

Cause

Tableau Server has a Known Issue published with Salesforce Reference ID W-12867744.
