”No authentication” Displays in Edit Connection Dialog Box Even Though OAuth Credentials are Embedded

Issue

After embedding the OAuth credentials to a data source, other users still see ”No authentication” when opening the edit connection dialog box.

Resolution

Only a user that saves the credentials in the Account Settings page can see the embed credentials in the Edit Connection dialog box.

if OAuth credentials are embedded, you can see "Embedded in connection" in Authentication when opening the Data Sources tab or the Connection tab for published data sources.

Cause

For security reason, only the user that owns the credentials can see the embed credentials in the Edit Connection dialog box. Other users will see ”No authentication”.
