Option 1:
Upgrade to Tableau Prep Builder 2019.2.1 or a newer version. Click here for downloads of Tableau Prep: Tableau Prep Downloads and Release Notes. For more information on current releases, see Install Tableau Prep and Prep Upgrade.Option 2:
Use the following workaround:- Open Tableau Desktop and connect to the database using the generic ODBC connector.
- Create an extract of the data source and save it to a location on your machine.
- Use the resulting extract as input in Tableau Prep by selecting Connections > Tableau Extract.
