Option 1:

Use the following workaround:- Open Tableau Desktop and connect to the database using the generic ODBC connector.
- Create an extract of the data source and save it to a location on your machine.
- Use the resulting extract as input in Tableau Prep by selecting Connections > Tableau Extract.
