When blending data, the red active link icon is not visible.

Resolution
To troubleshoot this issue, first ensure that you follow the steps in the following document to blend data from the two data sources: Blend your data.Note that the red active link icon would only appear next to the linking field in the secondary data source, indicated by the orange check mark (see screenshot below). This means you would need to click on the secondary data source in the Data pane to select it, for the active link icon to be visible.
Cause
The relationship between the primary and secondary data sources has not been defined, or the secondary data source is not selected in the user interface.Additional information
