How to build a TabPy Server other than building It on anaconda.

Environment
- Windows 10
- Tableau Server
- Tableau Desktop
- Tableau Prep Builder
Answer
Setup1. Download and install Python.
2. Download and install the Tableau Python server (TabPy).
- python -m pip install --upgrade pip
- pip install tabpy
- pip install virtualenv
- virtualenv my-tabpy-env #replace my-tabpy-env with your virtual environment name
- my-tabpy-env\Scripts\activate
- tabpy
my-tabpy-env\Scripts\deactivat
Test connection from Tableau Desktop
In this case, the Tabpy server and Tableau Desktop were installed on the same machine.
