The background map language can be set under the map provider account. Take Mapbox as an example.- Login the Mapbox account and then go to Studio.
- Create a map style you want to use in Tableau, then set the language under "Place labels" > Language
- Then use this map source in Tableau background map and you can see the map language is the same as Step 2 settings.
