The ability to create network graphs is currently not an available functionality in Tableau Desktop, but there are a couple of workarounds that will create a similar effect. The basic principles are shown in the attached workbook.
Option 1
Use a dual-axis graph to create a network graph. A dual axis will allow for shapes to be placed over the 'nodes' of a line graph. The underlying data will still need to be reshaped to plot out the lines of the network graph.Option 2
