Unable to connect with Amazon Redshift ODBC Driver.

Environment

  • Tableau Desktop
  • Amazon Redshift

Resolution

Option 1

Upgrade Tableau Desktop to one of the following versions:
  • 9.0.0
  • 8.3.4
  • 8.2.9
  • 8.1.17
  • 8.0.21

Option 2

If you are unable to upgrade, you can use the PostgreSQL ODBC driver to connect to Amazon Redshift.
