Issue

When viewing a published workbook containing line marks that are partially transparent, a portion of the line might not display or or might appear cut off on high-DPI displays.

For example:

The line mark appears normal when the workbook is opened in Tableau Desktop, or when viewed on a standard resolution display:

Environment

  • Tableau Server 10.0
  • Tableau Online
  • Tableau Public
  • Safari or Chrome on Mac with high-DPI (Retina) display
  • Tableau Mobile app on iOS and Android devices with high-DPI display

Resolution

Option 1

Edit the view to remove transparency from the line mark. For more information, see Configure color effects in Color Properties.

Option 2

Force server-side rendering by adding ?:render=false at the end of the URL for the workbook.
