No Tables Display When Connecting to Redshift Spectrum

Issue

When connecting to Amazon Redshift Spectrum, Tableau does not show any tables in the data source window.

Environment

  • Tableau Desktop 10.3.2 and earlier versions
  • Amazon Redshift Spectrum

Resolution

Upgrade to Tableau Desktop 10.3.3, 10.4.1 or a newer version. For more information, see Upgrade Tableau Desktop.

Cause

Support for Amazon Redshift Spectrum was added in Tableau Desktop 10.3.3 and 10.4.1.
