No Apply Button When Using A Relative Date Filter

Issue

When using a relative date filter, the Apply button is not available.

Environment

Tableau Desktop

Resolution

Use the following workaround:
  1. Pause Automatic Updates.
  2. Set Date Range values.
  3. Resume Automatic Updates.

Cause

The Apply button is only available when using a discrete type of date field. A continuous date field is needed for a relative date filter.
