ResolutionOption 1: Change the values in the data source to match.
Option 2: Create a calculated field to correct the mismatched values, and then edit the data relationship to replace the original field with the calculated field.
For example, if [Name] field has misspellings in one data source then create a calculation like the following:
IF [Name] = "misspelled field 1"
THEN "correct spelling field 1"
ELSEIF [Name] = "misspelled field 2"
THEN "correct spelling field 2"
CauseTableau Desktop uses the data source values of a field to match rows. Even if the aliases have been corrected, Tableau Desktop will not match up rows that do not have the exact same data source value.
