Firebird database error 335544373 Shows in Logs When Geographic Roles cannot be assigned

Issue

When creating new data connections, Tableau Desktop 9.0.3 fails to automatically assign geographic roles to fields with common names such as "City", "State", etc, and does not provide the ability to designate them as such.  Additonnally, the following error message appears in the logs:
Firebird database error 335544373: operating system directive OpenProcess failed - Access is denied.

Environment

Tableau Desktop 9.0.3

Resolution

Work with your IT team to ensure that you have full access to the folder containing Tableau Desktop's built in geocoding database.  

Cause

You do not have access to the folder containing Tableau Desktop's built in geocoding database. 

Additional Information

The directory for these files is installed by default to C:\Program Files\Tableau\Tableau (version#)\local\data\ .
