Error "no pg_hba.conf entry for host" in PostgreSQL Logs After Removing Worker Nodes

Issue

After removing a worker machine from a Tableau Server cluster, the following error might appear in the server logs:
<time stamp> 15136 FATAL:  no pg_hba.conf entry for host "<IP address of former worker machine>", user "rails", database "workgroup", SSL off

Environment

Tableau Server

Resolution

Uninstall Tableau Server from the worker nodes that are no longer in use.

Cause

Tableau Server is still running on the worker nodes that are no longer in use. The computers are failing to connect to the primary Tableau Server computer.
