Error "...exceeds Max Document Size" When Attempting to Connect to MongoDB BI

Issue

When attempting to create a workbook using the MongoDB BI connector, the following error may be returned. 

Error: "[MySQL][ODBC 5.3(w) Driver][mysqld-x.x.x mongosqld vx]failed to execute aggregate: (Locationxxxx) Total size of documents in resources matching { $match: { $and: [ { managingOrganization.reference: { $eq: \"Organization/fs1\" } }, {} ] } } exceeds maximum document size\n"} "

Option 2

As a workaround, limit the amount of data you are attempting to connect to. This can be done with extracts, hiding columns prior to extract creation, aggregating the data to a greater level of granularity etc...
 

Cause

This is a current limitation of the MongoDB BI Connector.
