    'Edit Axis' Settings in Dual Axis Chart Unexpectedly Affect Opposite Axis

    Issue

    One axis in a dual axis chart is unexpectedly affected by changing settings on the opposite axis. 

    Environment

    Tableau Desktop 10.2.0 - 10.2.3; 10.3.0

    Resolution

    Option 1

    Upgrade to Tableau Desktop 10.3.4 or 10.4.1. For more information, see Upgrading Tableau Desktop in Tableau Help.

    Option 2

    If you are unable to upgrade, try changing one of the axis's settings, such as "Include Zero", or Range (Fixed, independent etc).

    Cause

    This behavior is related to a known issue (ID: 665078) which has been fixed in a recent release of Tableau Desktop.
