This is expected behavior when viewing modified dates in Tableau Server.Cause
- When a workbook has only a Tableau Server data source connection, the workbook modified date is the last time the workbook was published. The data source modified date is the last time the data source was refreshed or published.
- When a workbook has both a Tableau Server data source connection and an extract connection, the workbook modified date is either the last time the workbook was published or the last refresh of the extract on Tableau Server. The data source modified date is the last time the data source was refreshed or published.
