Appended Data Not Retained After Fully Refreshing Extract
Published: 17 Jul 2014 Last Modified Date: 24 Aug 2022
Issue
You can fully refresh an extract to get updates from your original data source, or you can incrementally refresh the data to append additions to the extract, but you cannot do both.
When you add data to an extract from a data source or file, and then fully refresh the extract, all the data in the extract is replaced with the data from the original data source.
When you add data to an extract from a data source or file, and then incrementally refresh the extract, the appended data is preserved, but no data is added to the extract from the original data source.
