- Select Help > About Tableau

- Click the bolded "Tableau" file name in the menu bar > About

Option 1: Use the Tableau Server UI
- After signing in to Tableau Server, click the information icon in the top right corner:
- Select About Tableau Server.
Option 2: Use tsm (Windows versions 2018.2 or later. Linux all versions)
- If on Windows, on the computer running Tableau Server, open the Command Prompt window as an administrator.
- At the command prompt, run the following command:
tsm version
Option 3: Use tabadmin (Windows versions 2018.1 or earlier)
- On the computer running Tableau Server, open the Command Prompt window as an administrator and navigate to the Tableau Server bin folder:

The version_code references a specific build that can be found in the Tableau Release pages when opening a specific version. For example, open Tableau Server version 2023.3.2.
